My Services
I can provide the following services:
Battlefield Guiding. I am an accredited battlefield guide and former professional archaeologist. I specialise in the inland battles of the Normandy Campaign 1944. Previously, I have conducted town walks and archaeological site tours in the UK. I provide a driver/guide service for parties of up to seven persons. I also offer my guiding services for larger groups which have their own minibus or coach.
I can collect clients from the major ferry ports and airports - St Malo, Cherbourg, Caen, Le Harve and Dieppe.
I undertake historical research of Individual soldiers and their stories. I am currently researching soldiers of the 1st Battalion of The Suffolk Regiment and the 30th US infantry Division (Old Hickory). I am collecting material related to the use of horses in the Battle of Normandy.
Relief PSV Driver: If you are a tour operator and need a regular or occasional relief PSV driver in Normandy please contact me. I hold a full UK class D driving licence, driver CPC and a digital tachograph card and First Aid Certificate. I have experience with groups both large and small. I actually enjoy driving both manual and automatic, minibuses, coaches and double-deck buses and coaches.
